Kimberly Braylock's 7/11 Workout Playlist

It is hard to be motivated out of “I want to work out, but…” moments. What inspires me to keep going, besides self-will, when my mind and body prefers laziness? For me, music is the key. Whether working out serves the purpose of weight control, cardio, stamina, or to blow off steam… a proper playlist is needed. To determine the music, I may contemplate these factors: a good beat that drives my momentum; inspirational or mood-boosting lyrics that fuel positivity in reaching my goal; Or “this-album-is-so-good-I-must-keep-going-until-I-finish-it!” With many things to consider, my playlists are basically formed by my mood, goal and time frame. Unrestricted to a particular genre, I have upbeat songs that vary in tempos to interchange my speed. The playlist I created is called “7/11”… as to say “if you only like 7 out of 11 songs you’ll still get a 20-30 minute “in-it to win-it” work out! (Plus it ends with Beyonce’s 7/11) Whether on the treadmill, bike, stair-master, or elliptical, hopefully, you’ll finish sweaty yet satisfied.
